We've seen it before - see Colton '11, Yahtzee '09, and The Flamingo Kid Too '08 - where an early leader carries a dominant run into the new year.  This year's fast starter Beware the Phog hopes to avoid the pitfalls of its predecessors and carry the early season momentum into 2012 and the often unforgiving conference schedule.

The official entry count for the pool is 388, and this year's prize breakdown and estimated amounts have been posted. With fewer than 10 points separating the Top 25 and conference games set to dominate the next ten-plus weeks of college hoops play, it's anyone's game.
